James P. Golden, AIA, NCARB is a licensed architect with over 20 years of experience in high-end residential design. His work blends traditional New England architecture with the comfort and elegance of modern living.
As founder of James Phillip Golden Architect, he leads a hands-on, detail-driven practice, guiding projects from concept through completion. His expertise spans new construction, historic preservation, and complex renovations, particularly on coastal and village sites.
Previously, James spent 15+ years at Patrick Ahearn Architect, managing over 40 multi-million-dollar residential projects nationwide. He also serves as Department Chair of Architecture at the New England Institute of Technology, where he teaches and mentors future design professionals.
His work is rooted in the belief that architecture should be timeless, livable, and deeply meaningful, with a focus on custom homes and coastal residences across New England.
