Tides of Time

This oceanfront New England summer home, thoughtfully updated by Bayside Builders, Digs Design, and James Phillip Golden Architects, preserves its 19th-century charm while embracing modern coastal living. Originally planned as a remodel, the project evolved into a full repositioning and expansion to add a breezeway, pool, and guest quarters, while maintaining 80% of the original framing and historic features like the three-story staircase and diamond fretwork windows. Inside, a fresh and lively blue-and-white palette and casual, durable furnishings curated by Jocelyn Chiappone of Digs Design create a relaxed yet refined atmosphere, blending historic integrity with contemporary comfort for generations to come.
