DeOrsay Campbell Smith Architects is a residential architecture firm rooted in the classic traditions of New England design, reimagined for modern living. With a practice built on over four decades of architectural excellence, the firm carries forward the legacy of Campbell Smith Architects, now under the leadership of Christopher DeOrsay, AIA.

Founded in 1980 by Peter Smith and Pamela Campbell, Campbell Smith Architects earned a reputation for crafting elegant coastal homes that blend historic integrity with the evolving needs of 21st-century lifestyles. Their portfolio includes some of the South Shore’s most beloved residences, each marked by timeless proportion, thoughtful detail, and a deep respect for architectural heritage.

In May 2025, Christopher DeOrsay took the helm and re-established the firm as DeOrsay Campbell Smith Architects—honoring its past while leading it into the future. A longtime collaborator and practitioner of traditional design, Christopher brings his own vision and expertise to the studio, maintaining a commitment to form, function, and enduring beauty.
