Celebrating 30 Years of BDG
What began as a vision—a resource guide to fine home furnishings, products and services—has grown into New England’s first and longest-running regional home design publication. Reaching this legendary milestone, however, would never have been possible without the incredible community that has supported BDG along the way.
This anniversary issue is an opportunity to celebrate the enduring professionals who have helped shape our industry and whose talent, dedication, and tireless work make our communities—and the quality of life within them—better. We wholeheartedly believe these individuals are legends in their own right.
People often ask how BDG has remained successful for 30 years. The answer is simple: an unwavering commitment to quality—from the professionals we showcase to our impeccable production standards. Coffee-table worthy, always! While the days of film and plate-based printing that produced the original BDG editions are long behind us, premium printing, exceptional photography, and thoughtful editorial remain the pillars of what we do.
While our beautifully printed resource guides are at the heart of BDG, we have continued to evolve. Over the past two decades, our digital platforms have grown tremendously, allowing us to reach more homeowners than ever before. Through our website, blogs, newsletters, and social media channels, we continue to share inspiring projects and connect readers with the industry’s leading professionals. Rather than replacing print, these platforms complement it, extending the life and reach of every story we tell.
Of course, none of this would be possible without an extraordinary team. We are endlessly grateful to them, as well as to our clients and readers, who deserve nothing less than extraordinary.
Cheers to the past 30 years—and to the exciting chapters still to come!
