The Bulfinch Awards are presented annually by the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art New England Chapter and recognize practitioners committed to excellence in the classical tradition and allied arts within New England.

Eligible projects build upon the legacy of Boston’s early Federal architect Charles Bulfinch, widely regarded as the first native-born American to work professionally in the field of architecture.

Established in 2010, the Bulfinch Awards celebrate the enduring relevance of classical and traditional principles in contemporary architecture, design, craftsmanship, and preservation.

The 2026 Bulfinch Award winners will be honored at a reception and dinner gala on Saturday, November 14, at 6:00 p.m. in Harvard Hall at the Harvard Club of Boston, designed by Parker, Thomas & Rice.

The Institute of Classical Architecture & Art (ICAA) is a nonprofit membership organization committed to advancing the practice, understanding, and appreciation of classical and traditional design. Through education, publications, awards, lectures, travel programs, and other initiatives, the ICAA supports practitioners, students, and the public in engaging with the classical tradition and its continuing relevance today.
