From the Heart

Spearheaded by FBN Construction, DeOrsay Campbell Smith Architects, and interior designer Kelly Laurence of Warrior Design & Decor, this project evolved from a modest renovation into a sweeping transformation, including additions to the main house, a detached garage, and a dramatic restoration of the property’s historic barn. The team carefully preserved original details while introducing modern functionality, weaving in meaningful design cues inspired by the homeowners’ Irish heritage and love for entertaining. Highlights include a sunlit heart of the home in the form of a gracious sunroom, a reimagined kitchen that complements preserved woodwork, and a fully restored barn turned lounge and office. A custom Irish pub in the basement, crafted with reclaimed materials and Waterford crystal touches, adds a deeply personal layer to the design. With expert collaboration across architecture, interiors, construction, and landscape, the home honors its history while embracing modern family life.
