The New England Chapter of the ICAA Announces Election Results

The New England Chapter of the ICAA has announced the election of David Andreozzi as Chapter Vice President, the re-election of Sheldon Richard Kostelecky as Chapter President, the election of Eric Inman Daum as Chapter Treasurer, and the election of Hugo Santana Lemes as Chapter Secretary.

Chapter President Sheldon Richard Kostelecky originally co-founded the New England Chapter of the ICAA with fellow Chapter board member Eric Inman Daum in 2005. Kostelecky holds architectural and urban design degrees from North Dakota State University, Harvard University Graduate School of Design, and the University of Notre Dame. Kostelecky maintains a sole-proprietor traditional residential architectural practice in Lexington, Massachusetts. He also acts as Regional Fellow and Curriculum Committee member at the national ICAA in New York, and has taught Classical architecture courses at the Boston Architectural College.

Sheldon Richard Kostelecky, Chapter President

Chapter Vice President David Andreozzi is an award-winning architect with a 26-year-old practice, Andreozzi Architects based in Barrington, Rhode Island. His firm specializes in historic-based archetypes, with a concentration in the Neo-England vernacular. He has completed projects in places from New England to the Bahamian islands. Andreozzi is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, and is the son of a second generation carpenter, contractor, and developer. He has spent six years on the national board of the AIA's Custom Residential Architects Network, CRAN, and was 2014 National Chair.

Chapter Treasurer Eric Inman Daum is a partner at Merrimack Design Associates LLC, Architects, a firm specializing in the practice of traditional residential architecture and historic preservation. He received his Bachelor's in History and Urban Studies from Columbia University, and his Master of Architecture from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. As co-founder of the New England Chapter of the ICAA, Eric served as its first president from 2005 through 2009. He taught design at the Boston Architectural College and has lectured at Build Boston, The Traditional Building Conference, The Providence Preservation Society and at the ICAA in New York.

Finally, Chapter Secretary ​Hugo Santana Lemes graduated with a Bachelors of Architecture degree from Cornell University in 2012 and is currently a designer and layout engineer at Payne/Bouchier Fine Builders in Boston. His main interests include perspectival drawings, the merging of the latest technologies and design, and the way the arcana has influenced architecture from ancient to modernist designs.
