METRIC CORPORATION WELCOMES 5 NEW EMPLOYEES, ALLOW US TO INTRODUCE...
Metric Construction Corporation recently welcomed several new employees to theexpanding firm. In addition to a Senior Project Manager and an Assistant Project Manager who join the office staff, three new Construction Supervisors head up field operations on active jobsites.
?Anthony Sanchez serves as Metric’s new Senior Project Manager, bringing more than 30 years of experience in general construction to the team, including 20 years in project management. Formerly of Pacific Mills Industrial Complex, at Metric, Sanchez will managelarge-scale residential and assisted living projects. He will also be instrumental in developing and maintaining Metric’s excellent client relationships. Currently, he is overseeing the construction of a retail center in Allston as well as two new apartment buildings in Boston that comprise a total of 150 units.
?Ryan Mador has recently joined Metric as an Assistant Project Manager. Previously with National Millwork Co., Mador’s current position allows him to serve as a liaison between Senior Project Managers and Site Superintendents. With a degree in Building and Construction Technology, Mador has applied his education to his experiences in the construction industry, working on requisitions, submittals, project schedules, and RFIs to ensure the smooth progress of each project. Currently he is responsible for academic, luxury residential, and historic rehabilitation projects under Metric’s purview.
?Charles Burzlaff has more than 20 years in project management and construction supervision experience. With a variety of projects under his belt, including residential, assisted living, and institutional buildings, Burzlaff specializes in complex, large-scale construction. Previously at J&J Contractors, Burzlaff is currently supervising the construction of an apartment building in Boston, which consists of 100 units. Burzlaff takes pride in building high-quality projects, making him a fitting addition to Metric’s exceptional staff.
?Based in Maine, Michael Doherty of Cloverleaf Management is supervising construction of The Bay House, a mixed-use residential/retail complex on Portland’s historic waterfront. As a veteran of the construction industry, Doherty draws on 35 years of expertise to ensure that each project concludes on time and on budget. Having previously managed projects ranging fromluxury homes to commercial and financial institutions, he also has experience with mixed-use projects similar to that of The Bay House.
?Kevin McGrath, formerly of TLT Construction, also joins Metric as a ProjectSuperintendent, bringing over 25 years of experience in supervising and coordinating construction projects. McGrath has a reputation for his devotion to the highest level of building quality. In the past, he has worked on a variety of projects including assisted living, residential, and institutional facilities. Currently he is supervising the construction of the Allston retail center and will later oversee the rehabilitation of the 170-unit historic Charleston Chew mill outside of Boston.
?With plans to hire additional Senior Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers in the near future, Metric’s growing staff reflects the firm’s continuing success.
