Aunt and niece duo Sally Jane Algiere of Durham, CT and Sally Jane Waite of Newton, MA recently launched their beautiful jewelry line Sally Jane Jewelry.
With their custom creations comes their powerful message: just bee. The Sally Jane bee “looks upward to her highest self, where she remains present and effortless in life, maybe even prepared to accomplish the impossible, an attribute bees are well known for.” Their signature bee charm on every creation, the Sallys create fashionable gold and silver necklaces, bracelets and silk wraps, inviting wearers to accept the magic that is the present moment, and look to the future with hope.
The jewelry line's launch comes after a devastating diagnosis, however: last year Sally Waite, who was 7 months pregnant at the time, was told she had stage IV colon cancer and only two years to live. After an induced labor (and the birth of a healthy baby boy), plus five surgeries and eleven rounds of chemotherapy, Sally is now cancer-free and is watching her son Sam grow and thrive.
With Sally Waite’s renewed health, the pair hopes to prioritize their new line and live its message each day.
Visit their website now to read Sally’s full story and shop their gorgeous collection. With every purchase, Sally Jane Jewelry will donate $1 to Massachusetts General Hospital’s research campaign toward Immonotherapy as well as supportive care provided for patients and familiar by Friends of MGCHH. Their donations will also help fund research toward the health benefits of Jin Shin Jyutsu for chronic health care needs.
