Seen & Inspired: 2016 Architectural Awards

Battle Associates Architects takes home two awards for their outstanding architectural work.
Battle is awarded the 2016 Concord Preservation Award for “Sensitive Addition/Alteration to a Historic House.” This home is located in the Historic District of Concord, MA and is recognized as an icon of fine gambrel roofed Victorian Architecture. John Battle was presented the award in a special ceremony honoring contributions in maintaining and enhancing the architectural, historical and cultural heritage of the Town of Concord.

Battle also takes home the 2016 National Contractor of the Year (COTY) Award for “Kitchens Over $150,000.” The project transformed the organization of the house to match the homeowners’ lifestyle and centering social gatherings. This kitchen was also acknowledged as a 2015 Silver Prism Award Winner.
Battle Architects worked closely with Platt Builders on both of these award-winning projects.
