Lady Gaga, one of Hollywood's more unconventional performers, recently purchased a tasteful, classy home in Southern California. Though nearly impossible to discover much about the famed artist's personal life, we now have a chance to see inside her multimillion-dollar retreat.
Below, the exterior of the sprawling home. It is complete with a large outdoor pool and patio area.
Inside the home, the style is largely rustic-chic. We never would have guessed that the star would have such fantastic taste in home design. Below, the beautiful rustic-chic kitchen and living area is complete with tons of interesting accessories like hanging pendant lamps, chandeliers, and wooden accent pieces. Oversized couches bring an element of comfort to the space, and the room looks like it came right out of a home in Southern France.
The open floorplan incorporates a kitchen, dining area, and living room, and the high ceilings make the rooms look spacious.
A casual yet elegant living room area creates ample space for sitting and chatting.
Below, a large Master Bedroom in varying neutral shades. The room is castle-like with its regal four-poster bed, chandelier, and fireplace. It is complete with a stunning view of the ocean.
The Master Bathroom below, again in clean neutral shades. The distressed wood of the cabinets looks natural with the wall color and brown marble flooring.
Outside, a sprawling view of the California hills in the distance, framed by beautiful landscape architecture.
A wraparound porch takes advantage of the gorgeous view, and lets residents bask in the warm California sunshine.
The home also has a stunning waterfront view of the Pacific Ocean.
A small courtyard is nestled into an empty corner of the floorplan, creating even more space for outdoor living.
The basement is the most unconventional part of the house, complete with a full-sized bowling alley.
An arcade-style basketball game can also be found in the cellar, promising hours of entertainment.
For relaxing and lounging, a casual living space/home theater is cozy and inviting.
Finally, a huge wine cellar completes the home. This little room is as stylish as the rest of the house, complete with elegant hanging pendant lamps.
