After spending more than two decades within traditional retail flooring and tile environments, Jennifer and Shayne Quigley recognized an opportunity to transform the showroom experience on a personal level. Their vision was to create an appointment-based, relationship-driven space that serves builders, designers, and homeowners alike. “Our goal was to make the process more simplified and less overwhelming, so clients come in and immediately feel at peace,” said Shayne.
A Full-Service Showroom that Feels Like Home
Instead of bouncing between multiple vendors, JLQ Interiors operates as a full-service boutique design showroom offering comprehensive installation, tailored design services, and integrated project support. The studio adapts to each project and partnership, working within a builder’s established process and existing teams rather than requiring clients to coordinate separately with multiple suppliers.
The overall atmosphere of the showroom was designed to feel more like a home than a traditional store — warm, calm, and inviting. The interior layout mirrors the natural construction sequence, gently guiding customers through decisions logically and efficiently. The showroom experience begins with hard surfaces such as tile and flooring, then flows into cabinetry and countertops, and finally into wallpaper and fabrics.
A Partnership Built on Design and Execution
It is at the intersection of design and execution that the Quigleys’ partnership truly shines. Shayne oversees logistics, pricing, scheduling, and on-site coordination, while Jennifer offers interior design services and creative insight as each project comes together.
While the studio is primarily rooted in high-end residential design, JLQ Interiors also handles commercial projects and work beyond Cape Cod. “Just because we’re a smaller company doesn’t mean we don’t have the buying power of larger companies,” Shayne said. “Our pricing is right on par — you’re just getting a completely different experience.”
For the Quigleys, success isn’t measured solely by aesthetic outcome, but by the way clients feel from start to finish. Jennifer describes hearing from clients that a process they expected to be difficult turned out to be easy as the most rewarding part of the work.
