Container Gardens + Boutique Garden Services
Artefact Home|Garden shares their tips for creating beautiful container gardens and offers custom boutique garden services.
Containers are the ultimate way to add interest to your garden, patio, entryway, or uninterrupted expanse. They are also an immensely cool way to add sculpture, texture and ‘a bit of the outside’ to your interiors. They can add a colorful, sculptural, or textural element for a quiet space. Let Artefact Home|Garden create a unique planting for your site, indoors or out.
Artefact Home|Garden is a boutique garden service – the containers and plantings are customized for each client and site, whether it be residential or commercial. A large selection of containers is available at the shop or to custom order – including the distinctive pots of Pennoyer Newman, wonderful aged terra cotta from Campo de Fiori and a hand-selected collection of carved stone, composite, and wood and palm planters from around the globe.
Artefact Home|Garden is also able to work with pieces you might already have. They offer spring, early summer and late summer plantings, as well as winter and holiday fills for your containers or planters. Artefact Home|Garden has clients in Boston, Cambridge, Wellesley, Lincoln, Concord, Belmont, Marblehead, Watertown, Waltham, Winchester, Lexington, Manchester, Gloucester, Rockport and beyond.
Artefact’s boutique (ie. small) garden services are offered on a limited basis. Their custom spring bulb plants and plantings, perennial beds and shade gardens are what they are known for – but they plan and hand-select every plant specifically for the site and client. Every garden is unique!
Did we mention…Artefact Home|Garden is excited to offer these solid mahogany ‘camp chairs’ – designed and hand crafted in Manchester-by-the-Sea by Rossi custom woodworking. Perfect for a mountain-view deck, sunset-viewing in the dunes, the aft deck of a yacht or gathered around a fire pit. More ‘glamp’ than ‘camp,’ each seat is comfortable and cool, and interlocks in two pieces for easy storage and transport.
Drop by the shop, email, or call to speak with an expert about your container garden. Artefact Home|Garden also does house calls and would be happy to stop by and assist you at your home.
