Boston Design Publisher Melanie Kaplan attended a great event last night at the recently opened ARTEFACT Home | Garden showroom in Belmont.

Sisters Maureen and Sue Walsh opened this well-curated shop in November 2011, and it boasts a wonderful selection of products, including those by Tom Verellen who was in attendance at the event last night. Verellen creates unique, hand-made upholstery in High Point, North Carolina, with fabrics that include organic Belgian linen, luxurious leathers and rich suedes and hides.

The Walsh sisters have succesfully created a must-see destination – simply put, it's worth making a special trip out to Belmont to check it out for yourself. You won't be disappointed. ARTEFACT is destined to become a favorite resource of top interior designers.
