If you’ve ever been driving down Route 9 in Natick and been distracted by a beautiful painting in a gallery window on the side of the roadway, you’re not alone.
“Customers have told us that our window displays have almost caused them to go off the road,” laughs Renate Rosenfield, owner of Renjeau Galleries. “People generally associate art galleries with tourist areas like Newbury Street or Cape Cod. So when they walk into our gallery for the first time, they are often pleasantly surprised when they realize they have a fine art gallery nearby.”
With an array of paintings from artists around the world and styles ranging from antique to abstract, it can be a lot to take in at first. But once you’ve had a chance to look around, the gallery staff can easily guide you to your area of interest. They can also arrange in-home consultations.
Even if you’re not in the market for a new piece of art, it’s worth noting that the gallery offers extensive custom framing, installation, and restoration services with a focus on expert design and quality workmanship.
Over the last 30 years Renate and her son Rob have continued to discover exciting new art. Most recently they have expanded their gallery space with a small third floor studio in the main gallery as well as a separate building on the property where they can highlight certain artists and have rotating monthly shows.
“The gallery space is constantly evolving” notes co-owner Rob Rosenfield, “The main gallery building is an old house with lots of nooks and crannies. So we’re always creating new spaces to showcase the art.
