Pietra Viva - Authentic Italian Finishes - Boston, MA
8 Newbury Street, Third Floor
Boston, MA 02116
Combining the Old World of Italy with new contemporary surfacing techniques, Pietra Viva (Italian for “live stone”) brings the look of the great palazzos to your private palace. “It is not paint,” says co-founder Marco Evangelisti. “It is an ancient stone from Italy that is first melted at a very high temperature, then mixed with Carrara marble dust and applied on walls to obtain a luxurious finish.”
Using all-natural materials that date back to the Golden Age of Rome and hand-crafted techniques that have been honed over two decades of service, Pietra Viva customizes its wide catalog of Italian marble finishes to fit any decor and any taste. “What we offer is ancient craftsmanship for your walls” Evangelisti says. “This is a product with over 2,000 years of history and has more in common with a sculpture than with just covering your walls.”
With offices in Milan and Boston and their own artisan training academy, Pietra Viva has worked with architects and designers nationally and internationally, and their portfolio ranges from the ancient restoration of classic Italian palazzos to modern architectural designs.
“Our mission,” Evangelisti says, “is to combine our unique contemporary techniques with this ancient product and transform your commercial or residential space into an exceptional work of art.”
