Just as most “wash-ashore” stories go, Matt Tomaiolo’s presence on Nantucket was almost accidental, having first come to the island in 2017 to build just two houses. These two projects quickly led to another, and another, and now the Shrewsbury, Massachusetts native calls Nantucket home, building, remodeling and caretaking a portfolio of homes across the island.
As Owner and President of Tomaiolo Development, Matt takes pride in the relationships he forms with clients, always having their best interest in mind, and believes this perfectionist approach was first born from growing up on the job sites of his homebuilding father years ago. “There’s no such thing as good enough,” Matt says. “It’s got to be done right, and that’s exactly how I run my business today.”
