“We got into Boston Design Guide because our clients told us they wanted to see us there. We stayed because everyone says they see us there. It’s great exposure in a discriminating marketplace, and we are honored to be included.”

“Since it’s inception the Boston Design Guide has certainly generated more customers for us. The best thing for us is that those customers have been looking for a high quality product – quality over price. The magazine has just provided good qualified leads for us.”

Chris Mian, Importer, Fabricator and Installer of Natural Stone

Company profile

Sea-Dar Construction has honed its expertise as an Urban Specialist by handling complicated projects in crowded urban settings with ease, consistently delivering projects on time and on budget.

Projects in urban settings have a number of unique challenges. Understanding the complexities of urban construction, being sophisticated in pre-construction planning, anticipating all of the challenges along the way and having a supervisor and crew that works exclusively on urban projects will result in a job that progresses more smoothly. Building in urban settings requires a special skill. Tight streets, even tighter abutments surrounded by lots of people and heavy traffic make construction a surgical affair. Noise abatement, permitting, limited hours of access, and highly flexible work schedules all take on an added dimension when they are done in the city.

Sea-Dar is well equipped and specializes in building custom residences in Boston's historic neighborhoods and surrounding communities.
